Pantopsalis cheliferoides

Pantopsalis cheliferoides is an endemic New Zealand long legged harvestman in the family Neopilionidae. Males occur in three distinct forms, with long slender, short broad, or much smaller chelicerae. The two exaggerated forms use these structures as weapons during contests, with long slender males grappling with rivals while short broad males use stabbing or punching movements.
