Psilochorus simoni

Psilochorus simoni is an introduced pholcid spider in New Zealand, originally from North America and now established in several parts of the world. It is strongly associated with buildings and other dry, sheltered places, where it hangs upside down in a loose web, often close to the ground. When disturbed it can vibrate rapidly through the web, while females carry their eggs in a loose bundle beneath the mouthparts until they hatch
