Pterophorus monospilalis

Pterophorus monospilalis is an endemic New Zealand plume moth found in native forest as well as parks and gardens. Its caterpillars feed on plants in the ivy family, particularly native Pseudopanax species, and can also use introduced ivy. Adults are predominantly white, with the wings divided into narrow feather-like plumes, and are often attracted to lights at night.
