Cebysa leucotelus
Cebysa leucotelus, the Australian lichen bag-moth, is an introduced moth in New Zealand and a member of the family Psychidae. It first appeared in Auckland around 1980, probably arriving accidentally from Australia. Its larvae live in portable silken cases covered with lichen fragments. NZ status: Introduced (adventive).
