Nymphostola galactina, known as the tarata flatmoth, is an endemic New Zealand moth with striking white wings that can have a subtle greenish appearance. Its caterpillars feed on the foliage of native Pittosporum species. It is the only species in the genus Nymphostola and occurs naturally only in New Zealand
