Ichneutica mutans

Ichneutica mutans is an endemic New Zealand noctuid moth found in a wide range of habitats, including native forest, shrubland, gardens, pasture and coastal areas. Its larvae feed on a variety of low-growing plants. Adults are variable in colour, fly at night and can be encountered throughout the year.
