Mountain Caps Orchid (Caladenia lyallii)
Caladenia lyallii is native, not endemic to New Zealand. It is a terrestrial orchid of montane tussock grassland, subalpine scrub, beech forest and montane pine plantations, typically with white flowers marked with red. NZTCS 2023: Not Threatened.
