Purple beard orchid (Calochilus robertsonii)
Calochilus robertsonii, the red bearded orchid, is native to New Zealand and Australia. In New Zealand it occurs mainly in open acidic peat, pumice, geothermal and other disturbed habitats. NZTCS 2023: Threatened – Nationally Vulnerable.
