Fungi in New Zealand include a vast array of endemic species as well as introduced species. Include the striking endemic sky-blue Entoloma hochstetteri (featured on the New Zealand $50 note). Common introduced species often found in exotic forests and urban areas include the iconic red-and-white Fly Agaric (Amanita muscaria).
