Tetragnatha spp
Tetragnatha spiders are long-jawed orb-weavers in the family Tetragnathidae. They are usually recognised by their slender bodies, elongated jaws, and habit of resting stretched out along stems, leaves, or other narrow surfaces.
Like other tetragnathids, they build delicate orb webs to catch small flying insects. Many species are associated with damp habitats and vegetation near water, where their narrow shape and posture help them blend in with their surroundings.
