A lifelong fascination with small and overlooked biodiversity
I’m a self-taught New Zealand nature photographer. For more than 15 years I’ve photographed wildlife, invertebrates, flora, fungi and natural places throughout New Zealand, with a strong focus on documenting native and endemic species clearly and carefully.
My interest in nature has always been driven by curiosity — a desire to understand and learn more about the unique biodiversity we share this planet with. This website gives me a platform to share the incredible diversity of New Zealand’s small, often overlooked species, many of which play important roles within our ecosystems. Through my photography, I hope to show some of our unique and remarkable biodiversity in a new light, while inspiring others to get outside, look more closely and discover what is around them.
